The constitutive gene KO approach enables a total inactivation of the gene in any cell. In a conditional KO mouse, the inactivation is restricted to specific tissues. The innovative technology from genOway , the"Safe Knock-out™" technology, enables the creation of constitutive and conditional KO mouse lines starting from the same targeted ES cell clones.
