CFAP126 (cilia and flagella associated protein 126) is associated with ciliary structure and function, with expression reported in tissues containing motile cilia such as reproductive and epithelial systems. Proteins involved in ciliary function are critical for cellular motility and signaling. The Cfap126-CreERT2 mouse line enables inducible, temporal control of genetic recombination in Cfap126-expressing cells following tamoxifen administration. This model is suitable for studying cilia biology, epithelial function, and related developmental processes.
