Lunch & Learn, May 7th: Accelerating Drug Development Through Predictive and Translatable In Vivo Models
genOway presentation
Join us for a Lunch & Learn session focused on one of the most critical challenges in modern drug development: improving the predictive power and translatability of in vivo models.
📅 Thursday, May 7th, 2026
🕛 10h30 am
📍 Babraham Institute, Cambridge, UK
In this seminar, we will focus on next-generation humanized mouse models engineered to more accurately recapitulate human physiology, thereby improving translational relevance and predictive power in preclinical research:
- Human-like FcγR models: expressing all major human Fcγ receptors (FcγRI, FcγRIIA, FcγRIIB, FcγRIIIA, and FcγRIIIB) enabling human-like receptor expression and improved evaluation of antibody-based therapies.
- CD3 humanized mice: developed for profiling T cell engagers. Models demonstrate robust immune function, preserved thymic maturation, and specific responsiveness to human‑targeted TCEs.
- genO-BRGSF-HIS mice: highly immunodeficient mice reconstituted with human hematopoietic stem cells. The presence of a functional human lymphoid and myeloid compartment provides a significant advantage to evaluate human immune responses to targeted therapies.
This informal lunchtime session will include:
- Expert presentations
- Interactive discussion and Q&A
- Networking over lunch
