Applications

Our immunodeficient models are valuable tools in a wide range of biomedical fields, including oncology, immunology and infectious diseases. Their compromised immune systems allow the engraftment of human tissues, cells (such as human hematopoietic cells) or tumors, making them ideal models for evaluating human immune responses, disease progression and therapeutic interventions. The genetic modifications in our immunodeficient models are designed to reduce the number of murine immune cells while making them more robust and predictable than SCID models.
